Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Distribution Center Supervisor to oversee remote warehouse operations supporting a Queenstown facility. You will lead daily activities, ensure safety, accuracy, and productivity, and drive continuous improvement across receiving, storage, and shipping.

The role requires strong leadership, 4+ years in warehouse supervision, and solid knowledge of WMS and inventory practices to optimize performance and alignment with company objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in warehouse supervision or management.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Experience with WMS and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring operational efficiency and productivity.
• Manage receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations, optimizing workflow and space utilization.
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and implementing measures to reduce discrepancies.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to align operational goals with company objectives.
