Placements24 is seeking a motivated Remote Warehouse Operations Specialist to optimize a distributed distribution network from a fully remote capacity. You will analyze warehouse performance, develop SOPs, and implement improvements to boost productivity, accuracy, and safety, supporting logistics from Queenstown, NZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 4+ years of warehouse operations management experience.
• Experience with WMS and inventory control.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled Remote Warehouse Operations Specialist to contribute to their efficient distribution network. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise in warehouse management and optimization from anywhere. You will be responsible for analyzing warehouse performance, developing best practices, and implementing improvements to enhance productivity, accuracy, and safety. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of warehouse operations, strong analytical capabilities, and a passion for driving efficiency in a distributed operational model, supporting logistics from Queenstown .

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze warehouse operational data to identify trends and areas for efficiency gains.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Assist in the selection and implementation of warehouse technologies and systems.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on warehouse performance metrics.
• Provide remote support and guidance to on-site warehouse teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse operations management or a related role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
