About the Role

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and warehousing sector, is seeking a highly analytical and insightful Remote Supply Chain Performance Analyst. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your analytical skills to drive improvements in our supply chain operations from anywhere. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) across our supply chain, identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization. The ideal candidate possesses a strong quantitative background, excellent data visualization skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics. This role is critical for providing data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions and enhance the overall performance of our logistics network, supporting regions including Queenstown.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data from various supply chain sources, including logistics, warehousing, inventory, and transportation.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and areas of inefficiency within the supply chain, conducting root cause analysis.
• Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to optimize supply chain performance, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, and procurement, to implement performance improvement initiatives.
• Support the development and refinement of supply chain models and forecasting tools.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting platforms.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain analytics.
• Prepare presentations and communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Contribute to strategic supply chain planning through data analysis and performance insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, performance management, or a related analytical role within logistics and warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel (advanced functions, VBA), and statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS).
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for data visualization and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment.
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and warehousing operations.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
