Placements24 seeks a highly analytical Senior Reservoir Engineer to join a global team operating in a remote-first model. You will evaluate hydrocarbon reserves, optimize development plans, and support decisions across multiple regions from anywhere, including connections to Queenstown.

Responsibilities include static/dynamic modeling, reservoir simulations (ECLIPSE/CMG), economic evaluations, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or closely related field.
• 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering in Oil & Gas.
• Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, CMG) and data analysis techniques.
• Strong understanding of reservoir physics and production mechanisms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed reservoir characterization including static and dynamic modeling.
• Develop and execute reservoir simulation studies to forecast production and evaluate field development scenarios.
• Identify opportunities for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and production optimization.
• Perform economic evaluations of reservoir development projects and provide technical input for investment decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.
