Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant focused on manufacturing to operate fully remotely in New Zealand. You will own the end-to-end recruitment process for production roles, engineers and management, sourcing talent across local and national markets, and advising clients on market trends and compensation.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years in manufacturing recruitment, strong stakeholder management, and proficient use of recruitment tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of recruitment experience with a focus on manufacturing, industrial, or operations roles.
• Proven ability to source and place candidates for technical and operational positions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chains, and related skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a demanding workload in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with recruitment software and online sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment lifecycle for manufacturing and operations roles, including skilled trades, engineers and management.
• Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract talent in the industrial sector, locally and nationally.
• Build and maintain relationships with manufacturing clients, understanding production needs and culture.
• Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including skills-based interviews and reference checks.
• Advise clients on market trends, salary expectations and recruitment best practices for manufacturing roles.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
