Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Management Consultant specializing in FP&A to join a remote team supporting clients across South Africa. The role focuses on building robust financial models, improving forecasting accuracy, and enhancing performance management to drive informed decisions.

You will analyze trends, provide strategic insights, and collaborate with client finance teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with financial goals in a flexible, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or consulting.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools.
• Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze financial performance against plans and identify key drivers of variances.
• Provide strategic insights to improve profitability and financial efficiency.
• Support the implementation of FP&A systems and processes to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with client finance teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment on financial goals.
