Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Architect for a fully remote role. You will design and implement security architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and drive cloud security policies, threat mitigation, and secure software development practices.

The role requires 7+ years in cybersecurity with at least 4 years in cloud security, strong knowledge of IAM, MFA, and container security, and familiarity with IaC tools.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 4 years in cloud security architecture.
• Deep understanding of cloud security best practices across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Proven experience with security technologies such as WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint security.
• Expertise in IAM including MFA.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and security.
• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless security.
• Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and security automation.
• Certifications like CISSP, CCSP, or cloud provider security certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and manage cloud security architectures for multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
• Implement and manage security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
• Architect and deploy IAM solutions, including MFA.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security in CI/CD and IaC pipelines.
• Respond to security incidents and perform forensics.
• Provide security guidance and training to technical teams.
• Stay current with emerging cloud security threats and mitigations.
