Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Principal Information Security Architect to lead and shape enterprise security strategy on a fully remote team. You will design secure architectures for multi-cloud and on-premises environments, set standards, and guide global engineering, product, and operations toward a secure development lifecycle.

The role demands deep expertise across network, application, data security, IAM, and cryptography, with experience in NIST, ISO 27001, and cloud security best practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive information security experience, with at least 7 years in senior architectural roles.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise information security architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Design secure architectures for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid environments, and on-premises systems.
• Lead security standards, patterns, and best practices development and implementation.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for complex systems and new initiatives.
