Placements24 is seeking a Remote Project Manager for a prominent nonprofit focused on community development in South Africa. You will lead planning and execution of social impact projects, coordinating with teams and stakeholders virtually to deliver on education, social well-being, and economic opportunities.

The role requires at least 5 years of project management experience, strong communication, cost control, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field as listed in the requirements.
• 5+ years of project management experience in non-profit or community development.
• Strong virtual collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with budgeting and grant/fund management is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning and implementation of community development projects from inception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, objectives, timelines and resources.
• Manage project budgets and ensure funds are used efficiently.
• Coordinate with teams, community leaders, beneficiaries and partners virtually.
• Monitor progress, report KPIs and prepare progress reports.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate virtual meetings and stakeholder consultations.
• Ensure activities align with the organization's mission and objectives.
• Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing in a remote setting.
