Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Physics Subject Matter Expert - AI Content Specialist to design physics problems and evaluate solutions for AI benchmarks. This is a remote hourly contract with flexible weekly hours.

You will craft advanced physics tasks across mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics, write clear step-by-step solutions, and work with researchers to improve benchmark quality for undergraduate to Masters level.

Qualifications

• Masters (pursuing or completed) in Physics, Applied Physics, or related field.
• Strong physics reasoning and problem-solving across advanced domains.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in writing and provide structured feedback.
• No AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced physics problems to test AI performance (e.g., mechanics, EM, thermodynamics).
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with rigorous logic.
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and quality of reasoning.
• Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks across undergrad to Masters topics.
