Placements24 seeks a highly experienced Remote Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global, innovation‑driven team. You will own end‑to‑end design of advanced mechanical systems, translating requirements into scalable solutions for Queenstown-origin and worldwide projects.

Lead complex assemblies, perform FEA/CFD/thermal analyses, create 3D models and docs, and mentor engineers remotely within a flexible, fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design and engineering roles.
• Expert in CAD/FEA tools such as NX/CATIA and ANSYS/Abaqus.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor remote engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex mechanical assemblies from concept to production.
• Perform advanced engineering analysis, including FEA, CFD, and thermal simulations.
• Create detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and technical documentation.
