Job summary

EVT is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure across our entertainment, ventures, and travel platforms. You will work hands-on across the stack, from pipelines to cloud infrastructure, ensuring data quality and reliability.

You will collaborate with Analytics Engineering, BI, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust engineering solutions, while guiding and mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years' experience in data analytics or engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines using Python and orchestration tools such as Dagster.
• Proven experience deploying and managing data infrastructure on AWS, including EKS, CDK, and Terraform.
• Experience owning CI/CD pipelines and applying GitOps practices to data platform delivery.
• Experience working within cloud data warehouse environments such as Snowflake, including supporting data transformation workflows built on dbt.
• Strong commitment to data quality, testing, and reliability across the platform.
• Proven ability to manage and respond to critical incidents and production data issues.

Responsibilities
