Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in cloud and on-prem data warehousing
• Strong in building data platforms and pipelines
• Hands-on with Snowflake, SQL, dbt, Data Factory, Databricks
• Knowledge of data modelling, ETL/ELT, data architecture principles
• Experience improving data performance, quality, governance
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborative mindset and continuous improvement
• Experience mentoring engineers is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and products
• Lead implementation of modern data architectures and platforms
• Ensure data is reliable, secure, accessible for business use
• Translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions
• Mentor junior data engineers and raise team capability
• Drive data engineering governance and best practices
• Collaborate with analytics, reporting, and AI teams for insights
• Monitor and optimise data performance, quality, and availability
• Contribute to strategic data initiatives for growth
