Job summary

RS Asia Pacific is hiring an Account Manager in Auckland to manage a portfolio of customers, uncover new opportunities, and position RS as the trusted supplier of choice in your territory.

You will grow relationships, drive upsell, collaborate with internal teams, maintain CRM data, and help forecasting and pricing compliance.

The role offers a hybrid work model with travel to customers and access to sales incentives and KiwiSaver benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Account Management or strategic development in industrial field sales (Industry/MRO/Electronics).
• Strong negotiator and communicator; builds effective relationships.
• Results-driven with financial, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Procurement understanding and value selling aligned to KPIs.
• Collaborative, proactive, and committed to continuous learning.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and engage target customers to generate new business.
• Drive upselling and cross-selling to meet targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver value-added solutions.
• Maintain accurate CRM and sales data for forecasting.
• Use data-driven decision-making to ensure pricing compliance.
• Resolve customer issues and improve experience and NPS.
• Participate in product trainings and marketing initiatives.
• Uphold company standards and compliance across processes.
