Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Industrial Engineer focused on logistics and supply chain optimization to join a globally distributed team. You will analyze, design, and improve logistics networks, transportation systems, and warehouse operations from a home office, using advanced analytics to drive efficiency and reduce costs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering or related field, 5+ years in logistics, and strong remote collaboration skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on logistics and supply chain management.
Experience with supply chain modeling and optimization software.
Strong remote collaboration and communication skills for virtual multi-functional projects.

Responsibilities

Analyze existing logistics networks, warehouse layouts, and transportation routes to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
Design and implement optimized supply chain processes and strategies emphasizing efficiency, speed, and reliability.
Utilize simulation and modeling tools to evaluate proposed changes on the supply chain.
Develop and maintain KPIs for logistics operations and report key findings.
Collaborate virtually with suppliers, distribution centers, and transportation partners to ensure seamless operations.
Research and recommend innovative technologies to enhance supply chain visibility and performance.
