Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Remote Fundraising Specialist to enhance its fundraising efforts. This fully remote role focuses on developing and executing strategies to secure financial support for the organization’s mission, leveraging donor engagement, grant writing, and campaign management from a distance.

You will identify funding opportunities, cultivate donor relationships, plan virtual events, track performance, and stay current with fundraising trends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in professional fundraising, with a strong understanding of various fundraising methods (individual giving, grants, corporate sponsorship).
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing fundraising strategies that meet or exceed targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for persuasive writing and compelling storytelling.
• Proficiency in donor management software (CRM) and fundraising platforms.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Strong research and analytical skills to identify funding opportunities.
• A passion for the non-profit sector and our client's mission.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to achieve revenue targets across various channels.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Write compelling grant proposals, fundraising appeals, and sponsorship requests.
• Manage and nurture existing donor relationships to ensure continued support and engagement.
• Plan and execute virtual fundraising events and campaigns to maximize reach and contribution.
• Track fundraising progress, analyze data, and provide regular reports on performance and key metrics.
• Stay abreast of fundraising trends, best practices, and relevant legislation.
