Job summary

Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers in Auckland seeks a senior FP&A leader to drive planning, forecasting, and insight. You will partner with the CFO and leaders to explain drivers and translate findings into practical recommendations.

You will own annual plans, forecasts, and long-term financial planning, and produce board-ready reporting. Strong commercial judgement and experience across profit and cash, with CA or equivalent, are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Substantial FP&A or commercial finance leadership in a large, complex business.
• Experience with planning and forecasting at scale and reporting to executives.
• CA or equivalent qualification would be an advantage.

Job description

This is a senior FP&A role working closely with the CFO and leaders across the business. You’ll lead group planning and forecasting, explain what is driving the numbers, and turn that insight into practical recommendations.

What you’ll bring

You'll have substantial FP&A or commercial finance leadership experience in a large, complex business. You're comfortable working across both profit and cash, challenging assumptions, and explaining the story behind the numbers to senior stakeholders here and overseas.

You'll have led planning and forecasting at scale, produced executive or Board reporting, and managed a small team. Strong commercial judgement matters here, as does the ability to make complex information straightforward. A finance or business qualification is required; CA or an equivalent qualification would be an advantage.
