Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Dispatch and Fleet Operations Manager to oversee our national logistics operations from a home office. You will manage dispatch for the Eastern Cape region, lead a remote team of drivers and staff, and drive efficiency, safety, and cost control across the fleet.

We value strong leadership, clear communication, and deep knowledge of TMS and fleet-tracking technologies.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in dispatch, fleet management, or logistics operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with remote teams.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and operational optimization.

Responsabilités

• Manage and coordinate all dispatch operations for the fleet in the Eastern Cape region.
• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of remote drivers and dispatch personnel.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, optimizing routes and schedules.
• Monitor fleet performance, including fuel efficiency and vehicle maintenance.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Schedule fleet maintenance and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
• Serve as primary contact for drivers, clients, and stakeholders on operational issues.
• Utilize dispatch and fleet management software to track shipments and resources.
• Analyze data to identify trends and efficiency opportunities.
• Develop strategies to improve overall operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
