Placements24 seeks a seasoned Energy Market Analyst for a fully remote, international team. You will research, model, and forecast energy markets, with emphasis on renewables and policy impacts, delivering insights to clients worldwide.

Requires a strong economics/finance background, 5+ years in energy market analysis, and proficiency in Excel, R, and Python. You will work across time zones and communicate complex data clearly.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Business or related quantitative field.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of energy market analysis, economic consulting, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of energy markets including conventional power generation, renewables, and energy storage.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, R, Python) and market simulation software.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with global energy policies and international market dynamics.
