Job summary

Placements24 partners with a leading advisory firm in Real Estate to hire a Remote Real Estate Market Research Analyst. The role centers on in-depth market research, trend analysis, and data-driven insights to support investments, development projects, and client advisory services.

This remote position allows working from anywhere while applying quantitative methods and visualization to forecast market performance. Strong communication will help present findings to internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Real Estate, Urban Planning or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years in market research, data analysis, or economic analysis in real estate.
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables), SQL, Python or R for data modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client presentations.
• Experience with real estate data platforms (Lightstone, Property24) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on local, regional, and national real estate markets to identify trends, drivers, and risks.
• Analyze demographic and economic indicators to forecast market performance and identify opportunities.
• Compile data from industry reports, government statistics, and proprietary databases.
• Prepare market research reports, presentations, and summaries for internal and external clients.
• Develop and maintain databases of real estate market information including values, rents, vacancies, and pipelines.
• Model market scenarios using statistical tools to predict future trends.
• Collaborate with investment and development teams to provide market context.
