Placements24 is assisting in finding a Remote Electrical Systems Analyst for a global leader in smart grid technology. The role focuses on analytical evaluation of power system performance, data-driven insights, and remote collaboration to enhance grid reliability and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in power systems, experience with modeling and simulation tools, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations for operations teams worldwide.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power Systems.
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems analysis.
Proficiency with PSS/E, ETAP or PowerFactory.
Strong data analysis, Python or MATLAB coding, and grid knowledge.
Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

Analyze large datasets related to power system performance, load profiles, and fault events.
Develop and utilize mathematical models and simulation tools to assess grid behavior and stability.
Identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks within electrical systems.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings and recommendations for grid improvements.
Collaborate with system operators, engineers, and management teams remotely to implement solutions.
Monitor the impact of grid changes and new technologies on system performance.
Develop and refine analytical methodologies and tools.
Stay abreast of advancements in power system analysis, grid technologies, and data science.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis.
