The role demands a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years in power system analysis, plus expertise in PSS/E, PSCAD, EMTP-RV and DIgSILENT. Strong communication and independence are essential for success in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in power system analysis and grid integration.
• Experience with power system simulation software: PSS/E, PSCAD, EMTP-RV, PowerFactory DIgSILENT.
• Knowledge of grid codes, power electronics converters, and renewable energy integration challenges.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
• Experience working independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct power system studies (load flow, short circuit, stability, protection).
• Develop and validate control strategies for grid-connected generation (solar PV, wind, storage).
• Ensure compliance with interconnection standards and grid codes.
• Collaborate with hardware/software teams to define integration requirements.
• Troubleshoot power system integration issues and prepare technical docs.
• Develop simulation models for power system components and systems.
• Stay updated on grid modernization and renewable energy tech.
• Provide technical support to global project teams and clients.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team.
