Placements24 seeks a diligent Corporate Compliance Officer to join a remote-first legal and compliance team. You will develop, implement, and manage robust compliance programs, fostering a culture of integrity and ethical conduct across the organization.

The role requires a law degree or equivalent, 6+ years in corporate compliance, and strong knowledge of relevant laws. You will lead risk assessments, audits, training, and external regulatory interactions in a flexible, remote setup.

Qualifications

• Requires law degree or relevant professional qualification in compliance, risk management, or legal studies.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in corporate compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related legal field.
• Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (e.g., POPIA, Companies Act).
• Experience in developing and implementing compliance frameworks and policies.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Responsibilities
