Qualifications

• Experience in community development, facilitation, social work, or a related field.
• Proven ability to design and deliver effective training and workshop sessions.
• Strong understanding of community mobilization, empowerment principles, and participatory approaches.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people and foster a sense of collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on topics such as leadership development, project management, financial literacy, and advocacy.
• Support the formation and strengthening of community groups and committees.
• Assist communities in identifying their needs, assets, and priorities.
• Guide communities through the process of developing and implementing action plans.
• Connect community members with relevant resources, services, and external support networks.
• Promote active participation and engagement from all community members, ensuring inclusivity.
• Mediate conflicts and facilitate constructive dialogue within community groups.
• Monitor the progress of community initiatives and provide ongoing support.
• Document community activities, successes, and challenges, preparing regular reports.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local government, and other stakeholders in Queenstown.
