Job summary

Bidfood New Zealand is seeking reliable, dedicated team members for the Nightshift, based in Hawke's Bay. You will pick and pack orders and load trucks for deliveries across Hawke's Bay on a six-day roster.

Hours are 7:30 PM–5:00 AM, Sunday to Friday with roster variations and public holidays. Eligibility to work in NZ, drug test, and security/ACC checks are required. Night shift allowances and staff benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Be eligible to work in NZ (citizen/resident/valid permit).
• Pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• Agree to a security and ACC check.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing orders.
• Loading trucks for delivery.
• Delivering products to customers across Hawke's Bay six days a week.

Job description

Our Nightshift team is the heartbeat of Bidfood and we’re looking for reliable, dedicated and motivated team members to join us. You’ll be hands-on in a fast-paced environment, picking and packing orders and loading trucks to deliver our products to customers across Hawkes Bay, six days a week.

Hours:
Sunday to Friday, rotating roster (Includes public holidays)
7:30 PM – 5:00 AM (Hours discussed in interview)

What We’re Looking For

Someone who is:

• Reliable, honest and committed
• Comfortable working in freezing temperatures (down to -25°C)
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
• Experienced handling chilled, frozen (-25°C), and dry goods
• Flexible and willing to help out by working extra shifts when required
• Forklift/reach experience (preferred)
• Physically fit – able to lift up to 25kg
• Team-focused, self-motivated and able to work independently
