Job summary

Powerco in New Plymouth seeks an experienced Reliability Analytics Manager to lead the development of reliability analytics capabilities and drive data-driven decision making across the electricity network. Qualifications

• Experience leading analytics, engineering, or data-driven programmes and teams.
• Strong people leadership skills, with a proven ability to coach and develop technical professionals.
• Expertise across descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
• Experience working with modern analytics platforms, databases, and data management practices.
• The ability to communicate complex information in a way that creates understanding and action.
• An innovative mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ideally, knowledge of electricity distribution, asset management, reliability performance, or other infrastructure-intensive industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of Powerco's reliability analytics strategy.
• Translate data, insights, and analysis into actions that improve network reliability, asset performance, and regulatory outcomes.
• Guide a small analytics team while partnering with stakeholders across Engineering, Asset Management, Operations, Planning, Regulatory, and Leadership teams.
• Drive innovation in analytics and establish reliable data and reporting practices.
• Represent Powerco in industry forums and support investment prioritisation and operational decision making.
