Job summary

Rabobank New Zealand is seeking a Manager, Regulatory Change to own and advance the regulatory change management framework across the organisation. You will partner with leaders to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical actions, ensuring timely and compliant responses.

In this hybrid Hamilton-based role, you will lead governance, reporting to senior management and the Board, and collaborate with Legal, Regulatory Affairs and external providers to maintain

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory roles.
• Understanding of the New Zealand regulatory environment for financial services.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical actions for the business.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regulatory change and adherence process, ensuring developments are identified and assessed with ongoing visibility through progress tracking, challenge, reporting and escalation.
• Strengthen the Regulatory Change and Adherence Management Framework continuously.
• Provide expert guidance to obligation owners and implementation leads to support timely delivery.
• Maintain oversight of obligation registers, prudential obligations, and coordinate attestation processes.
• Prepare clear regulatory change reporting for senior management, governance committees and the Board.
• Represent New Zealand Compliance in regional and global regulatory change projects.
• Build strong relationships with Legal and Regulatory Affairs and external service providers.
