Job summary

Kiwibank is seeking a Regulatory Change Business Analyst in Auckland, NZ, to drive analysis across regulatory change initiatives. You will translate complex obligations into practical, compliant solutions, partnering with Compliance, Risk, Technology and Transformation, and own end-to-end requirements with strong stakeholder engagement.

You will help shape risk frameworks and enhance delivery through clear documentation, traceability and effective workshops, in a collaborative, curiosity-driven

As part of the regulatory change team within Enterprise Risk, you'll join a dedicated team delivering regulatory change that is fit for purpose, future focused, and fully compliant. Working across Compliance, Risk, Technology, and Transformation, you'll help ensure regulatory change is understood, implemented effectively, and delivers the right outcomes for both Kiwibank and our customers.

As a Regulatory Change Business Analyst, you'll lead business analysis activities across regulatory change initiatives spanning systems, processes, and teams. You'll translate complex regulatory obligations, business needs, technical requirements, and operational impacts into clear, practical solutions that support compliance and enable successful delivery.

You’ll own the end to end requirements process, partnering with stakeholders across the business to understand impacts, gather and document requirements, and maintain traceability throughout delivery. You'll contribute to solution design, assurance activities, and project planning, while helping to strengthen business analysis tools, standards, and reusable approaches that support future regulatory change delivery.

• A proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, with strong knowledge of system integration, data flows and process design


• Depth of understanding in regulatory change or compliance-driven projects within financial services


• Skilled at eliciting and clearly documenting business, product, technical, data, functional, non-functional and operational requirements


• Confidence in facilitating workshops, resolving requirements conflicts and securing alignment and sign-off across diverse stakeholders


• Adept at building trusted relationships and communicating technical concepts clearly across business and technology teams


• Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments, with banking, payments systems or regulatory frameworks knowledge an advantage
