Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Dunedin, NZ, is seeking an experienced theatre nurse for a fixed-term parental leave cover (0.8 FTE / 64 hours per fortnight). The role offers NZD 81,000–106,000 per annum pro-rata plus Kiwisaver, with pay scaled according to the RN pay scale.

You will join a team performing a wide range of procedures across multiple theatres and support perioperative care standards. NZRN registration and APC are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post registration practice experience in theatre nursing.
• NZ Registration and Current APC.
• Evidence of adherence to best practice perioperative standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across theatres as part of the team.
• Assist with cardio-thoracic, neurosurgery, vascular, liver, GI, urology and orthopaedic procedures.
• Support nurse managers and uphold perioperative standards.

About you

Salary Range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale, between $81,683 and $106,739 p.a dependant on relevant experience.
