As a Registered Nurse in Preadmissions, you will play an important role in preparing patients for surgery by undertaking comprehensive nursing assessments, identifying health needs, planning care and ensuring patients are well informed before their procedure. You will provide evidence-based education and advice, helping patients and whānau make informed decisions and feel confident about their treatment journey. In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, support patient safety and contribute to high quality clinical outcomes.
