As a Perioperative Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative and reception support to the Pre - Admissions Outpatients Department, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of perioperative services. You will be the first point of contact for many patients and whānau, providing a welcoming and professional experience while supporting clinical teams with a wide range of administrative tasks. This is a varied and engaging role where you will coordinate clinic administration, maintain accurate patient records, manage referrals and documentation, and support the preparation of clinics. You will work closely with clinical and administrative colleagues to ensure patients receive a seamless experience and that services operate efficiently. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and commitment to customer service will play an important part in supporting high quality patient care.
Our Pre - Admissions Outpatients Department is part of the wider Perioperative Service and plays a key role in preparing patients for surgery and related procedures. Based in Hastings, you will join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering efficient, patient centred care and supporting positive outcomes for patients and whanau.
