Job summary

You will supervise the care team, ensure nursing instructions are correctly administered, documented and monitored, and communicate with residents and their families to support wellbeing.

Qualifications

• NZQA level 7 or equivalent.
• Current practicing certificate required.
• Flexibility to pick up different shifts.
• Team leadership skills.
• Honesty and integrity.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and problem solving skills.
• Alignment with our values and purpose.
• Experience in Palliative Care, Dementia, and InterRAI is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and guide the care team, ensuring nursing actions are correctly administered, documented and monitored.
• Provide proactive, person-centred care by communicating with residents and families.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the community.
