Job summary

The Doctors Medical Centres in Christchurch invites a registered nurse to join The Doctors Woodham. You will work within a committed, supportive general practice team, providing nursing care in primary care, and contributing to community health improvement.

Permanent, full-time role, 40 hours per week across 5 days (Mon–Fri). Requires NZ practising certificate, experience in primary care, and dedication to continuous learning; CPR, vaccinator and smear-taker certificates are advantageous.

Qualifications

• A current New Zealand practicing certificate with prior experience in a medical centre.
• Competent in areas of nursing in primary care; must have worked in primary care.
• Postgraduate nursing qualifications are highly desirable; specialisations acceptable.
• CPR certificate is preferred; vaccinator and smear taker certificates are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a general practice setting within a multidisciplinary team.
• Support community health improvement and patient-centered care.
