Job summary

Bupa Riverstone Care Home in Kelvin Grove, Palmerston North, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality clinical care across rest home, hospital or dementia settings.

This fixed-term, full-time role starts 05 October 2026 and ends 22 August 2027, with an average of 32 hours per week across morning and afternoon shifts. You will work to Nursing Council competencies and build strong relationships with residents and whānau.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Council of New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate is required.
• NZ aged care experience preferred; other RN backgrounds considered.
• Ability to document and assess care plans, notes and records to a high standard.

• Lead care delivery, embrace new care product innovations, and make clinical decisions while delivering safe, evidence-based care.

Hours & Roster Details:

• Employment Type: Full-Time Fixed Term starting 05 October 2026 and ending 22 August 2027
• Hours: Average 32 hours per week or 256hrs over 8 weeks
• Shift Time: Mix of 6:45am - 15:15pm and 14:45pm - 23:00pm
• Roster Pattern: 2 Week Roster Rotation Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday
