Job summary

Local Doctors Māngere Town Centre, part of Tamaki Health, is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for a permanent, full-time role in a busy primary care clinic. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, support preventative health initiatives, manage chronic conditions and work closely with GPs and support staff to improve health outcomes for patients and their whānau.

Structured rostering six weeks in advance, ample development opportunities, and a supportive team environment help you

Qualifications

  • Current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate.
  • Experience in primary care, urgent care, community or acute settings.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to culturally safe practice and health equity.
  • Strong digital literacy and ability to use clinical systems.
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care.
  • Undertake clinical assessments and nursing interventions.
  • Support acute and long-term condition management.
  • Provide health education and preventative healthcare advice.
  • Deliver immunisations, wound care and screening services.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our supportive team on a permanent full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy and rewarding primary care environment where no two days are the same. You will play an important role in delivering high-quality nursing care, supporting preventative health initiatives, managing long-term conditions and helping patients achieve better health outcomes.

Working alongside General Practitioners, nurses and support staff, you will build trusted relationships with patients and contribute to a collaborative approach to healthcare delivery.

What You Will Do
