Job summary

The Doctors Richmond is seeking a registered nurse to join our supportive general practice team. You will work 16–24 hours across 2–3 days, Monday to Friday, with school hours considered for the right candidate.

A NZ practicing certificate and primary care experience are desirable as you contribute to clinical excellence and community health. Join a committed network and access opportunities for professional development, training, and a supportive leadership team in a busy medical centre

Qualifications

• Current NZ practising certificate and prior experience in a medical centre (desirable).
• Experience with primary care is preferred.
• Practice aligned with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support in a general practice setting.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.
• Maintain high standards of care and clinical practice.

Nurses in General Practice enhance community health and equity, providing advanced care within multidisciplinary teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join us at The Doctors Richmond to contribute clinical excellence and community health improvement. You will work alongside skilled colleagues, supported by dedicated medical centre leadership.

We have 2 positions available!

16 - 24 hours across 2-3 days from Monday to Friday. (School hours will be considered for the right candidate)

Do you have what we are looking for?

• A current New Zealand practicing certificate with prior experience in a medical centre (desirable)


• Experience with Primary Care (preferred)


• Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.


• Willing to continually learnand improve


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with team members.


• You will ideally hold current CPR certificate


• Smear taker certificate is desirable but not essential
