Job summary

Heritage Lifecare’s Ellerslie Gardens Lifecare in Auckland is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents in a warm, supportive environment. Permanent full-time role (32+ hours weekly) with AM/PM, nights and weekend shifts, including clinical assessments and care planning.

About Our Role

You will have a positive compassionate attitude, the ability to make others smile, and be great at working with people. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residents are cared for to the highest standard with kindness and patience, in a warm and caring atmosphere.

As a Registered Nurse, you will use your skills to:

• Lead and develop a team of dedicated Caregivers to provide a high-level of quality care
• Develop and monitor care plans
• Carry out clinical assessments
• Form a lasting relationship with residents, families and GP’s
• Support the Clinical Services and Care Home Managers

Your Skills And Experience

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, either in New Zealand or abroad
• Hold a current APC
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine love for helping people, with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Have a good team spirit with empathy and drive to make a difference in the lives of others
• A passion for continuous improvement, with a sound understanding of the importance of health and safety procedures.
