Dasie at Home in Wellington, NZ, is seeking a registered ECE teacher to help launch a new home-based service. This flexible, part-time role starts casual and progresses to regular part-time (potentially 20–30 hours per week).

You will support licensing, mentor home-based educators, conduct educator visits, and oversee health, safety, curriculum and regulatory compliance, while benefiting from flexible hours and the option to work from home for planning tasks. Remuneration is $35–$40 per hour.

Formación

• Must hold recognised ECE teaching qualification.
• NZ teacher registration and current practising certificate required.
• Home-based ECE experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage flexible hours.

Dasie at Home is a new home-based early childhood education service establishing itself in the Wellington region. We're seeking an enthusiastic, registered ECE teacher to help launch our service and support a growing network of home-based educators.

Your role will include:

• Supporting our Ministry of Education licensing process.
• Providing professional guidance, coaching and mentoring to home-based educators.

• Undertaking Person Responsible responsibilities as required.
• Building positive relationships with educators and families.

About you

You'll hold a recognised ECE teaching qualification, New Zealand teacher registration and a current practising certificate. You'll be organised, approachable, self-motivated and comfortable working independently.

Home-based ECE experience is an advantage but not essential.

Already working in an ECE centre? Our initial flexible arrangements may allow you to continue your existing employment, subject to service requirements.
