Job summary

Learning Curves Childcare Centre in Auckland is seeking an enthusiastic ECE teacher to join our small private team. You will contribute to documentation, planning and curriculum design, and support centre-wide health and safety systems.

We are a 40-child mixed-age environment with a fully qualified team. The role offers opportunities to lead in health and safety, mentor staff and take on additional responsibilities within a warm, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Registered ECE teacher with NZ registration.
• Experience with documentation and curriculum design.
• Ability to lead health & safety and centre-wide systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the centre manager with wider centre responsibilities.
• Create engaging learning experiences and plan sessions.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced ECE teacher to join our team!

We’re a small, privately owned 40-child mixed-age centre, with a team of 7 qualified and registered teachers. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about children’s learning and enjoys being part of the bigger picture.

We’d love someone who:

• is a registered ECE teacher
• is confident with documentation, planning and curriculum design
• enjoys intentional teaching and creating engaging learning experiences
• is fun, energetic and genuinely passionate about children
• has an interest in taking a lead in health and safety and centre-wide systems
• would enjoy supporting our full-time centre manager with some wider centre responsibilities
• is organised, proactive and a great team player.
