About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Regional Transport Coordinator to manage and optimize transportation logistics across the Eastern Cape region, based in Queenstown. This role involves coordinating a fleet of vehicles, managing driver schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving overall transportation efficiency. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods, supporting our extensive client base. As a vital part of our Driving & Transport operations, you will contribute significantly to our operational success through effective planning and execution. This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site oversight and strategic remote planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the regional transport fleet, including scheduling and route planning.
• Supervise and support a team of drivers, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and performance standards.
• Monitor vehicle performance, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption to optimize operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations , licensing, and permit requirements within the Eastern Cape.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Transport Coordination or a similar logistics management role within the Driving & Transport industry .

• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
