Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a driven electronic security expert to lead the South Island region from Christchurch, with some travel. The role involves owning system health, guiding partners, and delivering high‑level technical support to customers and sales teams.

You will be home‑based in the South Island, collaborating across teams to mature security solutions and drive secure, value‑driven outcomes for government, tertiary, and corporate clients.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electronic security systems.
• Strong technical leadership and regional rollout skills.
• Familiarity with tender processes and proposal preparation.
• Ability to mentor partners and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the health of the South Island Estate, run proactive system reviews and site health checks across our installed base, keeping customers current, secure and getting full value, and surfacing the upgrade and optimisation opportunities that come with that.
• Lift Our Partners’ Capability: Coach and enable our channel partners to design and sell the whole platform, so they win more work and their customers get more from their investment.
• Champion Technical Sales Support: Deliver expert technical support to the Gallagher team, our partners, and end customers—helping to unlock sales opportunities through compelling product presentations, clear and confident tender responses, and engaging pre‑sales demonstrations.
• Lead Proactive Technical Support & Solution Design: Whether on‑site or remotely, provide advice, system commissioning, technical troubleshooting, and assist with product migrations—ensuring our partners stay technically sharp and our customers stay happy.
• Promote Advanced Security Solutions: Team up with sales to advocate for our high‑spec systems in Government, Tertiary, and Corporate sectors through thoughtful system design, tailored presentations, commissioning, and certification.
• Coordinate and Enhance Technical Services: Collaborate with internal teams to deliver technical support services that align with Gallagher’s strategic direction and regional goals.
• Manage and Maintain Technical Records: Apply and uphold Gallagher’s technical guidelines, ensure databases are kept current, and relay regional insights to our wider Technical Support Service team.
