Job summary

Gallagher Security in Christchurch is seeking an experienced electronic security specialist to lead the South Island region. You will oversee the health of the installed base, perform proactive health checks, and collaborate with partners to maximise value from Gallagher's platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience working with electronic security systems.
• Project management and/or hands-on installation experience in security systems.
• Deep understanding of networked IT environments and how they relate to the security industry.
• Familiarity with tender processes, including response preparation.
• Ability to travel across the South Island and work from a home-based office.

Responsibilities

• Own the health of the South Island Estate, run proactive system reviews and site health checks across our installed base, keeping customers current and secure.
• Lift Our Partners’ Capability: Coach and enable our channel partners to design and sell the whole platform.
• Champion Technical Sales Support: Deliver expert technical support to the Gallagher team, partners, and customers—helping to unlock sales opportunities with demonstrations and tender responses.
• Lead Proactive Technical Support & Solution Design: provide on-site or remote advice, system commissioning, and troubleshooting; assist with migrations.
• Promote Advanced Security Solutions: advocate for high-spec systems in Government, Tertiary, and Corporate sectors through tailored design and commissioning.
• Coordinate and Enhance Technical Services: collaborate with internal teams to align with Gallagher’s strategic direction and regional goals.
• Manage and Maintain Technical Records: uphold Gallagher’s guidelines, keep databases current, and relay regional insights to the Service team.
