Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Sales Engineer to grow the Atkore Customer base in your region and service existing accounts. You will focus on promoting electrical, safety and infrastructure products to resellers, engineers, architects and project managers.

You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans, building a robust pipeline, and quoting jobs while contributing to Atkore’s growth across the market in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Significant local experience in sales engineering or business development within manufacturing/distribution.
• Proven ability to communicate ideas effectively to senior level management and stakeholders.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to analyze, interpret and report results.

Responsibilities

• Manage key accounts and grow regional customer base.
• Promote features of the company’s products to resellers, engineers, architects, consultants and project managers.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to identify, penetrate and expand market opportunities.
• Assist in preparing fiscal year forecast and annual sales budgets.
• Continuously review market conditions to maintain a pipeline of growth opportunities.
