Job summary

The North Metropolitan Regional Education Office is seeking a proactive Senior Participation Coordinator to lead the Engagement and Transition program and other early intervention initiatives. The role focuses on strategic advice to schools for at-risk Year 7 and Year 10 students and includes mentoring coordinators, monitoring case management, and reporting outcomes.

Qualifications

• Competent in collecting, analysing and reporting data accurately and confidentially.
• Hold a nationally recognised qualification in human services, youth work or related area.
• Current C class driver’s licence required.
• Willingness to travel including overnight stays in non‑metropolitan locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Engagement and Transition program and other early intervention initiatives within the region.
• Train, mentor and support Engagement and Transition Coordinators; monitor case management and perform mentoring as needed.
• Develop and implement procedures and plans for training or suitable employment for compulsory school-aged students at risk.
• Monitor and report outcomes to stakeholder schools and the Region; work in a team environment.
