Job summary

Victoria University of Wellington invites applications for a Senior Adviser, Student Transition to join Te Huaraki - Student Success team on a fixed-term, 14-month contract commencing October 2026. Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality orientation and transition programmes that foster engagement and belonging.
• Coordinate recruitment, training, and support of casual staff for transition programmes.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support student success initiatives.
• Collaborate with Learning Designers to create engaging online resources.
• Use student feedback to inform continuous improvement of orientation and transitions.
