Job summary

DairyNZ Limited is seeking an Area Manager for the Lower North Island, based from Massey. You will lead regional programmes, collaborate with farmers, partners and stakeholders, and drive practical farm-solutions adoption across the dairy sector.

You will coordinate events, build strong relationships, and help farmers access industry outcomes. Travel across the Lower North Island is expected as part of regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in agribusiness or farm extension is desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel within the Lower North Island region.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional plan delivery with farmers, partners and stakeholders.
• Coordinate large events and facilitate sessions.
• Support farmers to improve farming practices through farm systems analysis.
• Build and maintain networks with industry partners and communities.
• Understand farmer needs and connect them to industry solutions.
• Deliver regional programmes and ensure stakeholder engagement.
