The Regional Business Administrator provides administrative and financial support for Barnardos Early Learning services at a regional level. In this varied role, you will work alongside a range of people across the business unit.
This is a permanent part time (30 hours per week) opportunity based in Christchurch.
Key responsibilities
- Payroll processing and support
- Management of accounts payable and receivables
- Contribute to service planning and reporting
- Maintain systems to ensure all personnel records are up to date
- Organisation and coordination of meetings, travel arrangements, preparation of agendas and meeting papers and minute taking
Skills and experience
You will be an experienced, well-organised, resilient Administrator with strong stakeholder management experience to succeed in this role. You will have:
- Proven administrative experience (3–5 years), ideally in a senior role.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Competence with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a strong understanding of administrative systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Familiarity with accounts and payroll processes, and the ability to manage deadlines.
- Understanding ofTeTiritio Waitangi and its application in everyday practice.
- A full, clean NZ Driver's Licence is essential.
