Job summary

Corys Electrical is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager for the Southern Region to grow our New Zealand customer base and expand partnerships. You will work closely with the technical team to understand customer needs and deliver tailored electrical, data, lighting, and safety solutions.

In this role, you’ll develop strategies, manage key accounts, and contribute to budgets and forecasts while supporting branch networks across Marlborough and Canterbury.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in B2B/B2C sales and account management.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Solution-focused with a problem-solving mindset.
• Solid understanding of financial management.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales that grow the customer base and exceed monthly targets.
• Liaise with the sales and branch network to meet service levels.
• Assist in developing sales budgets, forecasts, and plans.
• Plan strategies across areas of responsibility and growth opportunities.
• Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Report and analyze key accounts.
• Coordinate sales activities with staff.
