If the answer is yes, you might be the person we are looking for. We’re looking for a full-time Receptionist/Administrator to join our friendly and busy medical practice. This is a varied role where you’ll be an important part of the team, providing a warm and professional experience for our patients while keeping the day-to-day administration running smoothly.
Located on the Tokoroa Hospital campus, Tokoroa Medical Centre is whānau and community oriented, with a focus on improving health outcomes by ensuring people get the right care as early as possible. We are owned by Primary Health Care Ltd (PHCL) who also own and operate 8 other general practices in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Taranaki regions.
We’re looking for someone with a great attitude and a willingness to get stuck in. You’ll ideally have:
Previous reception, customer service and/or administration experience
Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Great computer skills and confidence using different systems and software
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A high level of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism
Initiative and a practical, solutions-focused approach
The ability to work independently while also being a great team player
A genuine commitment to providing excellent service to patients and colleagues
An interest in process improvement and finding better ways of doing things
