Job summary

Fit Factory Glen Eden is seeking a friendly, reliable casual receptionist to join our team. You will welcome members and visitors, assist with memberships, and handle basic reception tasks, including using our booking and membership systems.

The role offers flexible 2–3 hour shifts, mainly evenings and weekends, with extra shifts for holiday cover. A positive attitude, reliability and interest in health and fitness are valued.

Qualifications

• Great customer service and a friendly, approachable personality.
• Excellent computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Experience with Gmail and Google Sheets is advantageous.

Fit Factory Glen Eden is looking for a friendly, reliable and approachable Casual Receptionist to join our team. This is a flexible casual position with mainly 2-3 hour shifts as required, primarily on evenings and weekends, as well as providing holiday/leave cover when needed (longer shifts on offer for leave cover).

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming members and visitors to the gym
• Answering member enquiries and assisting with memberships
• Handling basic reception and administrative tasks
• Using our membership and booking systems
• Keeping the reception area & gym tidy and welcoming
• Assisting with general gym duties as required

About you

• Great customer service skills and a friendly, approachable personality
• Good computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
• Experience and knowledge working with gmail and google sheets would be an advantage
• Previous reception or customer service experience is preferred but not essential
• Personality, reliability and a great attitude are most important
• An interest in health and fitness is a bonus, but not essential
